I've been told these are all the same, but I'm sure I read back in the day that at least the porting was different on the 88 model?

I've been told that the PV is different between all three - so you need the matching ATAC assembly.

No idea if it is correct or not - I might even remember to check one day.

The motors improved (slightly) each year, so I don't foresee an negatives by fitting a later barrell.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Thanks guys. I remember reading an MXA article on the 88 model where they weren't too impressed with it compared to the 87.

I might see you at the Wyaralong interclub race Craig?

Power valve is the same on all three, 89 is nicasil bore others are not.

Thanks, I ended up finding an 87 cylinder that was only on it 2nd bore so I'm good to go.
