The loop that has been put together this year is nothing short of sensational! Its close to 100km of prime track!! But as we know when there's a bunch of mostly "mature" blokes all riding "mature" bikes there's bound to be a drama or two, or three or fou….
So i would like to assemble a dedicated bunch to help out, loop is running from 12 saturday this year as well so will need guys that can preferably do both days. You will need to have a registered bike, license and a good attitude
Competent, confident riders are preferred and on modern bikes would be best, no point the help becoming the ones needing help
Would also need to carry basic tools, tow rope etc, pretty must just what a lot of us would carry on an average trail ride.
Please do not offer to help if you think this would be a good way to fly around the VINDURO loop on a modern bike like a maniac just generally pissing people off and doing more harm than good.
Please do offer to help if you're a good bloke/girl, with a good attitude, who thinks circulating a 100km loop in spectacular country at a leisurely pace, occasionally stopping to help folks out with their bike or body dramas sounds like a top way to spend a weekend.
VERi aren't exactly "rolling in it" so we can't offer you any remuneration for your efforts, but a free Harrow '14 Tshirt will be thrown your way along with the appreciation of the masses. Believe me you'll have a ball, all be out there doing it to so don't think the committee won't do the dirty work too!!
