Hoonda CB450 twin parts
« on: June 30, 2014, 06:01:29 pm »
OK, so it's not overly VMX..but the vintage is.  ;)
Thought someone just may know?

Looking for a good barrel amongst other things for a '72 450.
Shipping from US and the like is off the scale for this little project, if I can source one in Oz it should easier?

No, that's one thing I do have. I picked up a set of cams and cam covers the other day.
Cam chain has been allowed to chew right through the tunnel of the barrels.  :o
Thought cylinders may be fixable until I removed half a tube 's worth of Silicone from between the fins only to find someone had already blobbed weld around trying to fix it before that attempt. I think a good barrel is the way forward now?
This is the start point ....
