Thanks Wombat, but through the lens is as close to actually racing a bike that I'm ever going to get. I once had a dream that I too could ride a bike, so off I went and bought myself a postie to learn on, well like a bad scratch on a record, reality slapped me in the face. You see, I'm the only person in the world, that while learning to ride a postie bike, on a 40 acre property, could run into a stationary horse float. So I figure I'm safer behind the lens. By the way if you don't mind me asking what do you race and what number are you.

Great story Jackie; a vision worthy of 'Australias funniest home videos'...but I'm sure we all have unfortunate 'learning to ride' stories.
I believe my first prang was in third gear - I pulled hard on the front brake instead of the clutch...
I was learning, going pretty quick and there were two handles - I chose the wrong one!

My own re entry to MX, or VMX, hasn't gone to plan for various reasons.
I currently have two Maicos and race number #22. Unfortunately only a BMCC practice day and CD5 have been the sum of this years events.
But I hope to make Connondale.

In fact, perhaps you could unveil and remount the Postie bike in the proposed 'Lord of the Flies' under 100cc class?
Check the thread in Yamaha / Do you Moto 100 which has the Members buzzing with anticipation.

And a question - I see a signature has appeared across your photos.
It usually indicates the photos are for sale; is this correct?

  Like the photos.    I too, feel safer behind the lens, especially where bikes are concerned!  My son's Jr-50 is powerful enough for me

Wombat your a funny man, but believe me its safer for everyone if I stay away from a track that other people will also be on, not to mention the spectators, or those lovely bikes I would have to pass in the pits to get to the start...remember the horse float. In answer to your question yes I will be selling my photos from now on, I'm still in the process of working things out.
