I have an '84 125 frame if that is any help...  I know they are very similar, but are they identical can't say.

Doc what is the answer?

Hey mate,
I will also have a look into it myself and see,
will be keen if it's the same, where abouts are you located.

Did a bit of research and found that I would either need the rads and tank of a 125 also as the 250's don't swap over,
as for motor mounts I am still unsure how much would need to be modded.
I think the 85 was the same so either 84 or 85 250 frame, roller whatever.

The 250 motor will not fit into the 125 frame. I tried it with my spare 125 frame and the head stay down tube is in the way plus the frame at the swing arm is different. From memory the swing arm needed to be modified as well. I ended up welding in new cradle tubes to my 250 frame.

Hi John,
got one down here thanks.
If it is an unmolested unwelded straight one i could be interested for a project, whereabouts are you located in the states.

Cheers
