just wondering if any one can tell me the name of the yellow used on early yzs it wold be great if some one could help

The paint  :D is called Racing Yellow, or something similarly lame sounding, but nobody sems to have had any luck getting a formula from the automotive paint suppliers.

Yamaha Competition Yellow is the paint designation and is almost a generic yellow. If you have an original o.e.m item with this colour painted on it, where the paint hasn't faded, any good automotive paint shop will colour match it for you.

yep good old competition yellow. its a real yellow yellow, not a mustard yellow if ya get my drift
