Rubber Fork Boots from Pyramid Parts
« on: May 10, 2014, 09:28:14 pm »
Has anyone bought these fork boots from Pyramid Parts on Evilbay? They sort of look like the goods , I am after some replacement fork boots for my rm125n and these look fairly close, and they claim to be actual rubber not silicone?????

From Memory:
 fork seals - success
Wheel Bearings - success
Head stem bearings for my rz 90% success - i did have to reuse one part
Chain roller for my YZ250e - not fit
Fork gattors rather not comment as i am not totally sure they were the supplies of non fitting product
so i would say approx 75% Pass in some peoples books

In my trade if the job is 65% good it fails and people get let down or hurt

I have a soft spot japanese mxers with aluminium tanks. Two stroke classic Dirt Track...

Yep. Pyramid parts fork boots are shit. They about two inches shorter than they should be and are too tight for RM 125N 38mm forks. I got Daystar 58 series black fork boots and they are perfect fir. Made in USA too.

And to add to the above, when forks are compressed they rub on your tyre ...... waste of money and so are the wet suit material wrap rounds.

Go to your local bike shop.
Cheaper and they will fit.
Less hassle all round.
