89 rm 250 forks

hi anyone know of a 89 rm 250 being wrecked anywhere , looking for upper fork legs (alloy) in good condition and a few other bits and pieces

There always corroided, get some 88 normal forks......they work way better too.

Have you considered Hydroblasting them ?

You can blast the rust but they seem to pit quite deep, the alloy flakes like all those dodgy 83/84/85 DID rims do, they must have used chinesse alloy in 89 at KYB.

these are to far gone to do anything with, bike was a barn find so to speek , was sitting in a shed been stripped down to frame for a few years .
