Another Ebay moan...

....after having just purchasing some bike gear for the kids from two different stores on ebay. I am now being bombarded with promotional emails direct from these stores, looks like ebay are now selling off our email addresses.
They suck....

Yep same thing here.  I made contact with eBay. What a joke.
I was told they had strict privacy rules and that no one can get my email address without me giving it to them.

After telling them that I had only just set up the email account specifically for and only for eBay and did
not give my details to anyone other then eBay when I signed up.

I was just told the same thing again and also that they would look into it. 
Yep, never heard for them again.

That's not selling your info, you purchased from the seller, as soon as you paid for your item your email is in the paypal system, if ebay was selling your info all the gear sellers would be bombarding you with offers not just the one you actually purchased from

It also comes up in your contact details along with phone numbers.
