if anyone out here in husky land has some bits for one of these i am trying to source some s/h parts to complete project
1. A exhaust pipe
2. A swinging arm
3. A set of wheels
4. A bigger set of balls not unlike  audey murphy's saddlebags

I won't comment on the price but just like that CR tank weeks ago failed to, if you want big bucks put up clear, concise pics, and plenty of them.

IMO poor quality presentation only leads to poor quality product

It does look like a nice bike , but I agree with above comments , not really good pics  considering the asking $$  ,if you were serious about buying. esp if you are  unable see it up front.
I have always  looked  at any prospective  bike purchase/s in person before  handing over any coin,
 ($300 XR500 being  the only exception)
   but  not always practicable to see it for  yourself , I would agree
 
     Buying off pics & description  only  ,on  any unknown machine, is a chance you take  , I suppose.

Just a side note on the swing arm a twin shock alloy KTM item bolts straight in with no mods.

Nice bike and they are a good ride with the 4 speed gear set ,7k would be a great price but as indicated by big K the asking price is optomistic to say the least.

Good luck to the fellow , i hope he gets  the asking price , i might consider selling a few if the market is on the rise.

been on a while, don't think he is being bowled over with punters waving cash....

there is a thread on Café Husky called "vintage husky's for sale around the world" (in the "left kicker" section), interesting to see whats available.
After a few pages you can see why the big 500 hasn't sold.

Wouldn't doubt it owes him that much depending in what he paid for the bike in the first place and if he paid for the labour on a few things such as painting, engine and suspension work. Regardless it doesn't make it worth that much.......be great if it did though

if it was totally shagged I could see a big cost but they are pretty tough and usually don't need too much work .
finding rods and pistons for the big husky's can be difficult but not impossible.

I was lucky with mine, it looked shocking but the only real issue was the water pump casing and a new one fixed that up.

 I got it all tight without much cash but it was in good condition to start with, California bike, hadn't seen water I rekon.

it looks like pooh but I flog it in the mud without any fear. id love a pristine reco job but I just like to ride them too much...ce la vie
