If your after Evo legal the 82 is no good. Good luck finding a good 81 465 front end. Every man and his dog has them fitted to all Evo bikes. Good ones run just behind clutch baskets and shift forks in the unobtanium stakes. If its to go on a 250/465 81 model you may be better to buy a whole bike.

I agree Ted,

But I see a lot of people running 82-84 YZ front ends on EVO bikes! They aren't legal as the 82 & up had compression dampening adjusters...

Here are some in the states, clearly off a 465H although states is off a 490.  I looked at them a while ago and the seller confirmed they are 43mm (or as he said 1.688 inches).  $131 international postage seems reasonable ($200 delivered) given size and weight, could ask if he can do cheaper if he can pack as small as possible and/or dissembles them

Thanks BB, I will look into them, does anybody know did the 250H also have the twin leader? and will other model front wheels(IE G,J,K,L125/250/465/490) fit the 465H backing plate & forks? :)
