US Ebay search
« on: January 08, 2014, 10:04:30 am »
Maybe I am having a CRAFT moment or have lost the plot - but it appears US EBAY, in the ever morphing face mode, have made it so difficult to find "off road" motorcycles now.  I no longer see the category link on the front page and when I get through to motors after 10 minutes and 15 pages I find 1 bike?

What are they doing - or is it me and should I be put out to pasture?

cheers

The newish My Feed eBay face page that supposedly sets you up with your most frequently viewed items is bloody annoying. In my case it sort of gets it right but for some reason it loads the page with baseball cap after baseball cap even though I've only bought one or two over the last couple of years. The search phrases such as AHRMA, Vintage Motocross and Vintage Dirt Track that I use on a daily basis are outnumbered 3-1 by these bloody baseball caps. Stupid, stupid, stupid. >:( >:( >:( .
eBay is now far less user friendly than it was before the My Feed shemozzle was introduced.

It's all about connecting you with products from businesses who give Ebay the most money.
Their interest in connecting you with an item you might actually consider buying is limited to how your actions can help them to justify charging more for the advertising.

With the core of ebay is a decent thing, it is increasingly becoming its own brand of snake oil.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
