Nah Brett, it's yellow and Ray ran his number 46 mate, he got third in the Super Seniors class. Just got the old girl back today after the crank let go on Ray, he wanted to have it fixed before he brought it back more credit for doing so, but he didn't have too but my old mate insisted ;D

A quick note to anybody that has never tried Dirt Track that this Saturday there will be a come and try day at Nepean.

This is open to only riders who have never ridden Dirt Track before and there will be sessions for ladies, juniors, ma licence holders from other disciplines and absolute newbies.

So no matter what your level you will be amongst friends on the track.

There will also be a couple of trolleys there too if you were interested in hanging off the side for a bit  ;D

Check out https://www.facebook.com/cpmcc.dirt.track for more info.

On Sunday we race!!!

Cheers
Shaun

Are the dramas with the track surface all over? It wasn't looking very good out there for a while ::)

Track was awesome firko, i enjoyed it. The speedway corner was great! I rode it at a practise a couple of weeks ago and it was very loamy, but Roy and the boys put in a great effort to have it perfect for yesterday!!
Was a great day, except for a major crash in the RD2 second heat of the Pro 450 class. Hope the guys are OK?? Rd2 was cancelled because of this and we moved straight into the finals.

As stated above another great weekend from the Penrith club.

The saturday night was a bit quiet but enjoyable none the less.

Congratulations to the series winners especially Snowy who took out the pre 70, Evo 250 and the thumpers!

As for dedication from the club you will find it hard to top a bloke in a neck brace and an arm in a sling shovelling dirt one handed and cleaning the start line with a blower, Aldo you are the man!

Thanks to all involved in the club and all of the other riders for making these events so memorable.

The format for next year with some away racing sounds great, bring it on  ;D

The only sour note was some scumbag driving in and theiving a bag of riding gear and some other stuff, hang him high.

Hpoe the crash victims are OK.
Cheers Darren

Some would argue a highlight of the day would be Darren's Yam wiping the field in the stroker class winning by the length of the straight and taking out a mix of moderns and cr500's!!

Gotta admit that was the highlight of my day ;)

Go the old rigs!

There was a bit of interest by a few in the old IT after the race, they would not beleive it was a stocker. ::) :-X

Yeah I was impressed with that I.T. I always thought they were a bit out of it, but it was a flyer!

I was very humbled by the generosity of John Ewing and 'OLD MATE RACING' with the beautiful  'Super Senior' item, a bit emotional that.

  cheers.pancho

plus 2nd place in the Syd West Slider  series! :o

Congratulations Pancho and well done, the Super Senior item was thoroughly deserved.
John Ewing is a true gentleman.

I only hope that I can still turn up with a couple of bikes and curculate as well as you when I am your age.
The body is currently telling me that I am being a little too ambitious.
Cheers Darren
