Magura 314 Throttle
« on: October 22, 2013, 01:00:49 pm »
Hey guys, what are everyone's experience with the Magura 314 Throttle?  I am interested in getting one for my TM250 but am worried that it will not work with stock cables.  I am still running the oil pump so going with a aftermarket single cable is not an option.  Anyone know if it will work or not, or how I can check to see if it will work?

Thanks!

I like the simplicity of 314 Maguras and have them on most of my bikes. I don't know if they work on a stock TM250 cable though. I've got a stock IT250H  throttle on my TM250 (at least that's what I think it is) .

Thanks Firko.  Looking at them both I don't think the stock cable will work with it.  I am probably going to get it anyway and have motion pro build a custom cable for me.  I can send them the stock cable and tell them to make one for the throttle of my choice.

I am keen to see how you go as I dropped my TM 250 yesterday (front tyre blew) and broke the throttle assembly.
