In the top end we have a lot of single vehicle rollovers. Talking to mates who are towies and police it appears a lot of these are out of staters in hire cars. You find the tire tracks drifting off the road into the gravel, the massive correction tracks and where it rolled. The passengers (if alive) were usually asleep so have no idea what happened. Most times the aircon is on and set to recirculate and the windows are up due to the heat. They have been driving for several hours non stop. It seems a build up of carbon dioxide can occur and the occupants all drift off to sleep

I do like cruise controls as they remove the need to watch your speed. I used to find that the longer I drove the more my speed crept up. For me, the faster I drove the more I was having to concentrate and the more tired I became. The cruise control allowed me to set a speed and relax. I found this on my first trip to Melbourne to attend CD3.
The older I get, the faster I was
