Race your pre 85 vinduro bike at Thumpercross on Nov 2, 2013

Billet YZ has already mentioned this event elsewhere, but I thought a bit of cross promotion wouldn’t go astray.

Vinduro fans should be aware that the Thumpercross event at Warragul on Nov 2-3 includes a Pre 85 class on the Saturday that welcomes vinduro bikes.

Anyone here remember the Mt Despair Challenge at Taggerty years ago? Hill Climb, 30 lap MX and a 25 minute Enduro loop. great fun.
Was billed as a mx vs enduro challenge... the MXers won!

I spoke to Glenn from DMCC last night and he advised that entries will close tonight. If you are interested in this event I'd advise you to get in touch with him ASAP.

He's proposing three all powers classes for old bikes: Pre 80, Pre 85 and Pre 90. These are based upon the ages of the bikes that have been entered already, and sounded fair enough to me.

The plan is to have 5 races for the Pre 90 class, and 4 each, plus a handicap race for the other two classes.

You don't need to take lights or barkbusters off your vinduro bike, but lights must be taped, handlebar ends plugged and sidestands removed or tied up safely.
