Hi all...
Need some help with a big bore engine number (RH case) starts with "246-00###"
Has a 4V4 top end...

4v4 is a yz 465 H 1981 , as to the case # no idea is there any other # before 246 .Iain

Thanks mate , no the RH case starts with 246-xxxxxx , got me stuffed , it looks no different on the outside to SR5 or 4V4 cases ..
I got the bike off here from "Ludo" in Bendigo , as a yz490k , ill just pm him..

The 83 250cc is "24Y" no idea about 246 . Does it looked factory like stamping? Asking because I have seen genuine Police re-stampings on stolen and recovered bikes.

It looks original with all the stamped lines running throughout the entire surface...
Or its a blxxdy good cover up,, got me stumped!

Ok,,,after some long research heading no where,,ive been told the case number "246" is indeed a one off factory job..
Can anyone else shed some light ?
motor pics are on the ozvmx facebook page,,,finally what to do with it
?
