Odd shocks on eBay.
« on: September 07, 2013, 12:32:44 pm »
I'm a bit of a junkie for early aftermarket accessories and I thought I'd seen everything until these Boge shocks came up. I wonder if they're genuine factory items, some obscure aftermarket kit similar to Poppy Konis or if they're the product of a long forgotten backyard engineering genius. Cool items for those who insist that everything in their bike being period correct.

Up for auction is a set of Boge shocks that have been specially modified with piggy back reservoirs from a 1974 Suzuki TM400, Auction is for the Shocks only. Shafts are good condition, no pitting and don't seem to leak, I have not rode the bike more than down the street so I cannot say for sure. But they are rebuildable and rebuild kits are on ebay. You can see that the bike is VERY low time If see a part you want please let me know.

The way I read the ad is that someone who knew what they were doing modified them, not sure whether that would make them aftermarket or one off
