Australian Sidecar Titles 2014
« on: June 25, 2014, 06:39:13 am »
Hi guys, from what I can find out the titles are on October 25/26 which is the weekend after the Moto GP at Phillip Island, I've just got to find out where it is, rumour was Horsham???

Maybe Shelpi can help find out..
I will be definetly going to the GP and if I can get time off for OZ titles good...

If we start organising now we can car pool and get more bikes down there...

the 25th & 26th October is the ASA Australian Club Championships and the Track is still TBA
there is a MA sanctioned Australian Title at Horsham on the 18th & 19th  20 max on the grid and will be modern orientated, sup regs available soon.

Also on the 19th October Classic Scrambles Levis club at Acusa park

Only 20 on the grid???Bring back the old days I say, 40 or more for qualifying at Monthrodon (FR) in '87...let 'em all go together and 1st 12 after lap one went on the front row, next 12 on second row, any after that went to the non- qualifiers heat.

yer sorta, the MA sactioned Aussie title is to find the top 4 riders/passengers in OZ and give em a leg upto Europe, its prominatley for Moderns but all are welcome upto 20 on the grid. 18th & 19th Oct

ASA Aussie Club Championship is a all welcome affair 25th & 26th Oct

classic scrambles is a SA state title MSA solo's with sidecar sorta thingy, 19th Oct

And No 3 day event just 2 day, hope this helps and will give TBA of ASA AUst Club Champ when we find out ;)

Nah Mate itsa Australian Championship By the ASA Club all welcome from all walks of life and no limit on numbers on the grid, still wish a major big buck sponsor would pay to get everyone in one place for the biggest sidecar battle in the Southern Hemisphere (I can dream cant I  :P )
It is the ASA series 5 rounds in all, muddy ol Crystal Brook was round 2 that is the points accumilation ;)
