Alternative Vintage Trailbike MX'ers
« on: May 23, 2008, 08:13:05 pm »
There's loads of them out there so how 'bout some pictures ;)

Here's some examples I have currently sitting in the garage.

1972 SL100 .

1971 TS125

1969 TS250

1976 TS400 see below action pic courtesy of TonyT with test pilot Oldfart making the Mighty TS look deceptively fast! :o

missing from this list is my '73 F11 of which I can't find a picture..prolly cause the bikes tucked away at my Mum's :P she promised she'd only ride it every 2nd Sunday ;) I have a '73 TS250 to piece together sometime soon also but it's still in the baskets :P

seems I have an affinity towards the oddballs of VMX.  8)

Hey, cool thread Doc. :)

I've got no useful photos, but my collection of race-bikes-that-started-life-as-trailbikes includes:
69 CT1.
74 DT125.
And unfinished projects:
DT1,
RT1,
DT175,
DT250.

I'm not sure what's to be gained by having three pre-70 race bikes when they all run in the one class, or two pre-75 250s, but there you go....

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
