Very Nice YZ250H - Rosco's Bike - Well priced too
« on: August 21, 2013, 03:49:39 pm »
Old Rosco and I never saw eye to eye on many things but he sure has advertised this bike at a very agreeable price.  A genuine Evo bargain for what looks like a well set up bike in excellent condition. Here's the link:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yamaha-YZ-250-H-1981-VMX-AHRMA-EVO-Vintage-motocross-/190889219446?pt=AU_Motorcycles&hash=item2c71e25576#ht_696wt_958

Just the forks with emulators would be worth $800 to a grand.  Should be snapped up by someone from here surely??  If I didn't have one already I would have grabbed it by now.

I think the bike looks average.....I thought ol' Nimo might come to Qld for the titles next year, ride a real back in the day track, get his arse kicked and go back to Victoria. ;D I doono if that's his good bike, his bikes always seemed better than this one?

The bike's a plum and well refined, buy it or buy the next $1500 piece of crap one you come across and see if you can get it to this standard for another $1500.....me thinks not..... ;)

It is an excellent bike. Well sorted and fast. Like Rookie said, just buy it and use it you won't be disappointed. What I am disappointed in is why it is for sale at all. What's going on Ross? You know those weird Spanish things only seem like a good idea. ????
Cheers, Grahame

News flash Davey Crocket,
Nimmos not so good bike is sold and if the guy that bought it ventures up to the only state that apparently races VMX you may just be in for a shock. He is originally from Victoria and loves to kick arse, i`m looking forward to the race report from that meeting.    Regards Peter.  ;)
