Anyone that was thinking about coming to Broadford for the Mitchell ride day on Sunday, you can forget it, the Manager out there emailed me this morning, he said the rain has wrecked the track and that it'd be too dangerous to ride and has cancelled our day.
I expect it is a little bit of pay-back as I've been riding him hard to prepare the track for us. I went out there yesterday afternoon and the track looked great, not a puddle to be seen, perfectly smooth all the way around so as to not hold water and correctly placed breaks in the windrows (after I emailed them during the week to do that) to let water escape off the circuit.
I think the track might be ok but he has declared it, so be it.
