QVMX, Mt Tamborine 18th May
« on: May 10, 2008, 06:27:10 am »
Round 3 for Qvmx is on next weekend, the 18th May at the Mt Tamborine track. Hopefully we will get some rain to keep the dust down, but this track is allways bike friendly and open flowing racing with nearly allways a fifth gear back strait, so if your iching for a great day of fun racing where it dosn't matter who comes first or last, as long as you beat your mates.

track set-up is Saturday afternoon with camping allowed, but please remember club guidelines if doing so.
the food van will be on site as usual on Sunday. scrutineering starts at 7am with racing from nine so dont be late.

Cheers Trev

Hmmm... hey Brad, have you considered incorporating the birthday activities and the race day in one?
While you're puttin' in the hot laps the kiddies are in the pits bouncing on the jumping castle, enjoying the pony rides and that timeless classic, 'paint the cow in Maico colours'.
Between motos you pop in to serve ice cream...
Run it past the Missus, see how ya go.

last minute update, we will need volunteer flaggies for the weekend as the local SES crew have decided a last minute withdrawl, so if you have someone to bring who is over 18 we will throw in lunch and cold drinks for the day.

Hey Midpack, isn't it funny how the dynamic duo (090 and Squirtmoto) are full of excuses now. Ever since you put on the now legendary performance and kicked both their arses, the excuses are flowing thick and fast. It's sad to watch.

Thanks to all the crew at QVMX for putting on another fine meeting. bit of dust at the end but hey, thats Queensland for you ;D Golden boy you were missed as always but the 70 or so riders enjoyed a very good day, so again many thanks to Trev and the team.
