Not any more but I've got a sweet little Period 5 TM250 road racer (with log book) I could sell you 

I think the Moms has the classes in it.

I was racing Period 5 for years and years on Yamaha RDLCs. Always a popular race bike.
This year I am racing in Period 6 on a Yamaha TZR250 and TDR250.
Have a look at these on bike from the TDR250 at BSFoS 2014.
2nd one is the best but plenty of action in the 1st as well.

I still have my 2006 200 hp GSXR1000 Superbike, haven't raced it for over a year though.

You can race bikes up to 95 bikes from 90-95 don't need a log book all other periods will need a log book before you start. The P5 Unlimited. P5 350 along with P6 750 are very popular. The newer classes are the best subscribed. Barry Sheene and the Island Classic are must do meetings Aussies get free entry and bike transport to the NZ Barry Sheene meeting.

I have a 1969  DS6, this would be period 3 is that right, I also have been think about turning my greeves into a road racer too.

Read the MOMs Dave please it will answer your queries. Your 1969 DS6 will be in Period 4 (also known as, Post Classic) This is basically 1963 to 1972 with few exemptions. Like TZs and Z900s . You will require a log book for both the bikes you list. Cheers Tim754
