That's better than or at least as good as new.
So....what do I buy...a new CRF or that...same money or there abouts.

motor and frame have the same no
that is very suspect to me.
anyone have ore seen a elsinore with matching nos.
i had one of the first 900 ever made and its no was 200 out frame was 900 engine was1100 it had early crank in it as well got it off original owner in texas
.even chippas cr250 is no matching and his was one of the first in aust he has had it since new owned cycle city honda in hurstville

Jim it says original motor to frame numbers with matching cases not matching numbers. As you said if they did match it would be suspect. I wonder if there is a data base somewhere that has the frame and engine numbers listed.

Hope whoever has purchased the CR, takes it out and gets it dirty on the tracks. Most likely it will just end up wasted in another temperature controlled mausoleum room , perhaps hanging on a wall like a dogs turd on a stick  or in a stinking soulless non "'racing museum"...) :(
