Really old Suzuki on eBay

For the Suzuki punter searching for the ultimate pitbike.

For sale is this 1953 SJK ( Suzuki Jidosha Kogyo ) MiniFree bike. This is, to the best of my knowledge, the oldest complete Suzuki in the US. If someone knows otherwise, please let me know.
The bike is complete, meaning it has all the odd bits that it takes to have a complete SJK MiniFree when done. There are odd things that matter to end up the desired result. The pedal crank arms are offset to clear the engine when hung from the frame and the rear brake actuating arm on the band brake has an offset attachment to clear the belt pulley. The rack is correct for a bolt on fuel tank. This all comes up as I have a 1954 SJK MiniFree that I acquired not attached to a Japanese bicycle. In the process of marring the 1954 to a Japanese rod bicycle, these things were discovered.

The carburetor on the 1953 comes out on the left of the engine. The clutch cover and the flywheel cover are unique to the 1953. The tin shrouding is unique to the '53, changing to a winged affair in 1954.

The frame proper is in excellent condition, while the handle bars, rack, fenders and wheel rims are seriously rusted. The cap to the fuel tank is cracked, however, it is all there. The rims being rusted is basically of no consequence as the original rims used clincher tires, for which there are no replacements. The tubes used Woods type tubes - again, there are no replacements. This means a conversion to bead type rims in tires is in order to produce a rider. The the best of my knowledge, there is no possibility of a 100% restoration due to the rim/tire/tube issue.

The engine does not turn over and I have made no attempt to disassemble it or otherwise molest it. The spark plug cap is an SJK cap.

All the bolts are embossed with the Blondie ( producer of the bicycle ) logo and the little gixhodge attached to the frame on the left side up near the OD of the pulley is a spoke lock with a removable key - also made by Blondie.

I have a heavy duty Japanese Rotal bicycle that I will sell for $400 with this unit should anyone so desire.
