Evo Race Lerum Sweden last week
« on: June 17, 2013, 09:30:14 pm »
A VMX racer mate from Sweden, Jorgen  has taken this to show us how they are doing it on their Soft Tracks.  Plenty of Old Huskys in these races. He is KTM Sweden on the forum.  All the best Pete

MA would have a fit at that track, 6 ft fence on one side with a drop off to nowhere on the other side... :o

Thats what I just told him. And the Swedes pride themselves in all things safe. Volvos, Crash Test Dumbies and Ikea.  I thought the Christmas Trees were a bit close to the handlebars too.

hello friends. do you think the motocross track looked dangerous? it probably looks worse on film than in reality. but a little tight, it was in some places. next competition will go on a real hard track by Swedish standards. I'm filming with my gopro camera as well so you can check on the Swedish veteran motocross someone rainy day when you have little to do. next race is July 14. moore to come ..... 8)

Jorgen,  Keep up the good work filming.  Your tactic of having poor starts and good finishes gives us some great vision of Swedish passing techniques.  ;D ;D ;D

ha ha, yes bad starts have come over the years. it used to be my weapon in the past. but like you said, you do everything for the film's sake. hope the weather will be good next contest. a proper ground path that is wet is not good for the helmet camera and not the driver either;)
