97 Husky wr 250
« on: May 31, 2013, 02:18:25 pm »
Ol mate is unloading his wr 250. i think its a 97.

he wants a couple of g's but is open to offers

its a great cheapy for someone who wants a bit of performance but probably only ride it once a month

Forks and Shock have been fully serviced and recoed with some mods, motor goes well and its in pretty good knick for its age.

He got it for a song years ago as it had a in-determinant miss that the owner (having rebuilt the top end) was having a breakdown about (no real idea :-[ :D) the fault was an ignition wire rubbing on the flywheel and shorting ;D ;D. s oit was a great outcome.

He works in WA, the bike is in Bendigo Central Vic so he doesnt get on as much as he would like but he is upgrading and it has to go out the door.

if you know someone getting into dirt bikes, this would be a good bike as its low, reliable and easy to ride for a little 2 stroke. the price is excellent (put it on a card!!)

let me know PM if you have an interest

cheers

Fairly sure it's a '99 model, not that there's that much difference.

97/98 had RWU forks, 99 went back to USDs.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
