Damaged DT/RT1-2-3 Frame.
« on: May 13, 2008, 07:35:46 am »
I'm after a damaged, cut, crashed, twisted, butchered or rusted DT/RT1-2-3 Frame. What I want is the front down tubes and under engine frame rails. I want it for my OW replica,

To get a replica chassis I'm guessing that I have two choices, start with a DT/RT and lower it, or start with an MX/DT250-360a and change the engine mounts.

I've got an RT/DT, an MX and a DT360 frame but I'm very reluctant to butcher a good frame. My choice would be to combine an already mangled RT/DT frame and the 'common as muck' DT360 frame.

So you hoarders, could you look deep inside and under those blackberry bushes in the backyard to see if you can find an overgrown suitable DT/RT1-2-3 frame.

I did post it in "wish list for CD-5" topic. You must of missed it. Could of delivered to you their for free.

PM if its of any use.

Thanks quickie, but I really would feel guilty cutting up a good frame. I'll keep it in mind. I'm might need it in the future, for this project or another ::) :o ;).

Firko has offered me an RT frame that has been crushed by a car which sounds the 'go'.
