« on: May 06, 2013, 06:17:15 pm »
I have a 78pursang frame that has a 360 alpina engine sitting in it.
Would the alpina eng be any good for dirt track, gear ratios etc  ??? ???
If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards.

The Alpina is more low down torquey power for trails & rock hopping and has a heavier clutch side fly wheel for engine inertia. It would need port work and a pursang gear box which would fit straight it. It also has a lower compression head. Basically, get a pursang or frontera engine or even better, an Astro!
