It's actually a 1972 DT2 which would make a nice starter for a pre 70 project. Even though it's a '72 model it's a straight flow in from the 1968 white tank DT1, the only major change needed being to replace the reed valved cylinder with an earlier piston port version. The seat base is trashed as 99.9% of Yamaha bases are. They all suffered badly with rust and fatigue issues and very few survive in pristing condition. The rest of the bike looks pretty clean and straight though.
