Chain guide

G'day viewers I'm making a chain guide for my little Indian its going on the rear of the swing arm near the back sprocket is it best to run the guide as close to the sprocket as possible and just under the chain ?  :-\ jimson

i prefer guides to be close to sprocket all the ones i have made like that work well ;D
