DT-1/RT-1 Clutch Adjustment
« on: April 07, 2013, 12:49:18 pm »
What is the proper way to take up the slack in the clutch cable on a DT-1/RT-1?  I'm almost all the way out on the lever adjustment.

If the clutch pull feels unduly heavy, remove the housing (that the clutch cable goes into), dismantle the thust helix from the housing and check that the nylon helix is not split.
If its ok, lubricate the parts and reassemble, if its split see if you can find a cheap new one, if so tell me first! ;D
 cheers pancho.
