1973 Honda CR250M with super rare Mugen cylinder?
« on: March 22, 2013, 03:07:36 pm »
I didn't think Mugen made a cylinder for the green striper, did they make one for the last red model M,would that retro fit?
It's a bit hard to see any detail in the pics coz they are too dark,it's got a Mugen sticker on the sidepanel at least :)

As far as i know they didn't make any kits for the '73/'74 Elsinores, they had top end kits for '76 and later 125's and 250's. A 75/76 250 cylinder doesn't fit the 73/74.
Just another ill informed seller..

True.. Mugen cylinder and heads are a lot squarer in looks than stock Honda stuff. That head i bought from you is chalk and cheese to std.

I would imagine its a case of seller being un or misinformed, I bet as far as he knows it's a mugen cylinder. Someone should actually call the guy and see what he says, chances are he's just lacking in knowledge and is telling us all what he's been told.

A 75 mugen kit doesn't fit a 73/74
