I've bought one of these units to use with the DT400 ignition on the RT2MX motor in my flat tracker. I haven't run the bike yet but it'll be debuting at the HBBB at Easter so we'll know then. I've heard that this is the ticket for the DT ignition, not sure about the internal rotor ignition. Worth a try though.

New CDi that allows DT250/360/400 B&C models to run with a failed pulser coil (all bikes using the F8T00171 & F8T00172 CDi unit - email to check compatibility) The pick-up or pulser coil fails often and is difficult to obtain, now we have a cost effectve answer! Our CDi does not require the pulser and gives a modern 2-stroke timing curve which un-locks extra power from the classic machines. Some minor modifaction of the stator is required, a full guide is included. If the stator is sent to us we will carry out the work.

Bought the pulser less one for my dt400 ignition to go on my rt360 but there is a 2 week lead time on them at the moment so god knows how long it will be until I get it.

I have purchased the pulserless CDI from Rex's speed shop for my DT360a it had a failed pulser which made it a bitch to start and would not run as good as it once did. I have had it running and it is easy to start now and sounds totally different than before   I have not ridden it yet as I got excited and started on restoring it now.

After my purchase (payed in full for item)and being told of no stock and a 2 week wait for production and then postage delay on top of that, I have emailed rex's twice asking for the paper work or email work needed for the modifications to run the pulser less cdi but no reply, could someone who has one on here send me the modification needed to run this CDI so when it arrives I will be ready to roll. Cheers Andrew

Rex's got back to me today and said that they now don't recommend modifying the back plate because they can crack and hit the flywheel and have made up their own one which will come with my box at no extra charge so their back on my Christmas card list.(as long as it turns up soonish)

My Rex's DT400 CDI arrived within a week of me purchasing it off their eBay listings. I'm actually fitting it up to my 360 today but I think I'll have to make a mounting bracket of some sort as I can't mount it in the stock location being an aftermarket flat tracker. I'm itching to hear this bike run but I won't be able to start it until the weekend as my rugby rooted pensioner knees can't handle starting a big bore any more :-[.......Oh well, time's a' wastin'.....off to work ;D
