Rickman Zundapp bargains on Swapmeet.
« on: March 02, 2013, 01:17:24 pm »
We've discussed how versatile these frames are elsewhere on here and these ones are pretty cheap by most standards. The blokes ad is hard to understand and his replies to enquiries are usually one word or equally as confusing as his ad. I wanted to know what the Jemco pipe fitted and he told me Bultaco, he told Jonesy Hodaka and now he reckons it's for an OSSA (or Honda ???). Is he selling two Rickman frames or three? Is the rickman zunndapp set up for flatrack one of the two mentioned for $75 apiece?? If anyone is keen on either of the pictured frames, the bottom one is a later version made from 1" tubing rather than the earlier versions 7/8 tube. It's not a major deal but if you're contemplating fitting a 250 or bigger motor the bigger diameter later version would be stronger.

I wouldn't mind that second Zundapp frame (44A), who was it that was a contact in US to get things sent to, for forwarding to Aust. There was a post about it on here recently, is there someone with a better memory than mine  ::)

Yes that was the one, it was only a week and a half ago. My memory is on the way out in a bad way. Thanks for the info, I will give them a try.
