Yes Paul,  your friend is a very lucky man ....................
Still looks in great shape for its age.
On Any Sunday is still the best movie in my view

What a bargain. More proof they are still out there.

I was told last year that Steve McQueens On Any Sunday Husky was in a big auction in Las Vegas and sold for, I think from memory, $74,000 US  ?????

Paul,

The bike is being delicately restored. Not to disturb the current patina but we are updating things that
have to updated, cables and seat and the like. Engine internally will all be done over AND we will run it.
The guy mentioned the Vegas auction. For the record, please post this. The bike is a Steve McQueen bike
but from the official documents we have it could not possible be in the "On Any Sunday" film or on the cover of
Sports Illustrated. His bike was actually being manufacture and in the Husky factory at the time.
We have the original invoice for that bike. It is a 1971 not 1970

I am in the process of changing the website URL
