This is a genuine (L.O.P.) Lorenz Offner Products Swingarm. L.O.P.was a World famous aftermarket supplier in the late 70's, early 80's .One of the very first of the MX Industry satellite teams based out of Illinois. It was a family funded, run and owned MX racing team. Many of past legends rode for L.O.P. including but not limited too the greats like, Kippy Piece, John Surwell, and Marty Moates. One of the biggest victory came to L.O.P. from master pilot and throttle jockey Marty Moates by taking the victory at the 500cc USGP held in Carlsbad, California. Even today, very few privateers make it to victory lane. The Carlsbad victory for the L.O.P. team was huge and put the National Motocross scene on notice , they were for real and here to claim win and championships.
The swingarm itself in in fantastic condition. No cracks, chips, broken welds etc....a roller has been added to the top of this particular one for the chain to ride on. Whomever placed it on there did a good job by NOT hitting any of the factory welds making it very easy to remove it and never be able to tell if was even there if someone so desired to place it back to 100% original. This is a one time, buy it now offering. I will never list this arm again for sale. thanks for looking and good luck on this artifact of National motocross Histoty.
In terms of fitment, The only fact that I can stand behind is this Arm with mount up to a 1978 Suzuki 250C2 model....thats what I had it on...New bearing and bushing presently in the arm itself. Mount ready ! May fit others, Do your own research.
