Maybe my thanks in advance was premature
C'mon guys surely someone knows how to decode these green things??
Simo old mate, it’s not that we don’t like you, your question was important to us, we’ve just all been very busy that’s all. Our wives have been nagging to do stuff around the house. There was a good movie on TV, we had to take the dog for a walk, you know how it is.
From my receipts it seems that the frame No hints at the model
Your KX should be a B and the KDX a C
The 83, 84 & 85 KDX 250’s were all much the same bike.
Hmmm I just looked up and there was no KDX 250 C, only a KDX 200 C
KDX 250 A1 – 80
KDX 250 B1 – 81
KDX 250 B2 - 82
KDX 250 B3 - 83
KDX 250 B4 – 84
American lists don’t recognize the 85 but they were brought into Aust.
KDX 200 C1 – 86
KDX 200 C2 - 87
KDX 200 C3 – 88
As for the KX, the 82 was still air cooled, the 83 was the first watercooled
