Or is this how the world sees us... not that I give a damn!!!

When a woman says "What?", it's not because she didn't hear you, she's giving you the chance to chance to change what you said.

Beam me up Scotty, no intelligent life down hereā€¦

I always think that when I see some old bloke driving a muscle car.  Even worse when their cruising on the speed limit in a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

I saw that poster on the wall of a shop in California, around about 1990, when I was buying some hot up parts for my Jetskis.
The guy behind the counter told me that the old bloke on the bike was speedway World champion, Bruce Penhall's engine builder/tuner.

Bruce Penhall's engine builder/tuner.
And a dedicated one at that, with the manual pages marked.  :)

How old's old?

I'm 52 & have 2 XA coupes (Yet to be retored) I have a stinking hot 351, toplader & 9" to go in the GS.

The other I am toying with the idea of a late model 4L turbo 6 speed manual transplant.

I also have an XA ute that I was doing up for my 18yo son. Got a 2V head, did my sums on compression ratios, cams etc. & was looking for about 250HP (Not startling but sensible power) EL 5 speed to allow for a low ratio diff centre (3.23 or 3.5:1). Good accelaration but still economical in top, but he became impatient & thought it would be gutless compare to his, now, BA ute. So it's mine now & I intend to finish that 250 & blow his BA into the weeds. Once that's done a V8 (On gas) shall be installed & it will be my VMX transport. Wife on board, 2 bikes in the back & a caravan behind. (Sick of sleeping in the wagon) Ken & Dawn Baker have the right idea.

I can assure I may stick (occassionly) to the speed limit but I'll get there mighty fast.
