Looks like the guy doesn't want to sell it the bike now after me winning the auction!!!  No answer on his either of his phone lines or by email.  Apparently he's sold a bit of a dodgy RM500 to a VMXer before.  His name is Michael (with an ethnic surname), bike is suppose to be in Talbot near Avoca and he works near Campbellfield.

Looks like he was expecting me to pay by PayPal, no buyer protection with cars or bikes from PayPal, glad I didn't pay straight-up!  He was telling me before the sale ended that he expected to get $4500; sounds like $3500 didn't suit him.

No one's going to attempt to jab me in the poo-pas and get away with it!

I think you're wrong here JO.  There is buyer protection with paypal .. well there was less than 12 months ago.  I purchased a bike from Sydney, paid via paypal, but when the freight company went to pick it up, bike wasn't there so I called paypal immediately and got a refund.  Took a couple of days but I got all my money back.

Sometimes it just takes a few days to communicate for various reasons.  You might be right and the seller might want to reneg but give it a couple of more days and see how you go.

I pick the bike up tomorrow morning, I'm pretty excited about owning the last model twin shock KX; I think I will now be referred to as 'Jammin Johnny' ;-)
