G,day viewers I,ve been stuffing around old dirt bikes for the last 15 years since I found my little Indian at the tip.BUT never riding as I,ve suffered from carpal tunnel which makes your hand go numb I had the left hand done about 4years ago and now my right one is being operated on tuesday 20/11/12 so by early next year I,ll be able to RIDE  8) and I can,t wait. I had both mine done at the same time, only laid up for 6 weeks or so and even then after a few days was fairly mobile. Sure is good to wake up with hands that you can feel.  Shoulder surgery for me now the season's over, guess I'l be having a forced rest from riding as well.
