« on: November 17, 2012, 10:35:14 pm »
Chasing a pair of rear shocks to suit a '79 KX250, apparently RM125N or T shocks are the same length 16.50"

I know the reservoirs are different.  Shocks maybe be the same with different spring rates.

Unless its resto best place for them is in the skip  ;) they were rubbish in the day and dont get better with age  :)

However for resto to look at they will be great  :)

On my A5s i have Fox airs , YSS and Fox factorys . The Fox factorys are by far the best IMO  ;) Joan rode one at the Johnny Old and we fitted his Works performace shocks (cos hes a bit heavier than me ) and they worked great and looked good .

Yeah don't muck around with std or cheap shocks if your going to ride it. I've got Fox Airshox on mine which look trick and work decent but I'm going to fit some Ohlins I have and they'll be better.

The RMN/T 125 shocks wont work, they are for a lighter bike and the angle that they sit (leverage) is diferent, like Bill said, I have a pair of Works Preformance remote reservoir shocks and they work great....there a fast great handling bike so why spoil it with shit shocks.......

Thanks guy's,  Walter do those shocks have any adjustment for comp or rebound damping?  I always find I may need a click either way depending on what spring-rates & preload I end up running.
