Might be a slight issue on the width of the top mount at the back of the motor.

The biggest hassle will be working out how to join the reed block to the airbox - the DT carb is too small for the IT intake, while the IT carby won't fit in the DT airbox boot. The DT intake manifold won't bolt the the IT motor - the IT has a much larger bolt spacing.

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

thanks Nathan,im going to make a it175 close ratio dirt tracker out of it so airboxes wont be needed.all though i like my bombed out ts185a im sure theres alot more go in the IT motor with its reed valve/bigger ports and 34mm carb compered to the 32mm carb i can just get on the 185A coz of the spiggot inlet that model got landed with and it will be a cheap bike to put together using alot of bits ive collected through the yrs from scrap metal yards and the local dump shop ;D

just reporting back to say that a yz125e motor slots in with no mods to the mounts on a dt175  76 model twin shock FWIW
