I went to bed one night when I was 40 and when I woke up I was 60....that's how quickly it seems to go :o. The key to life is to fill those years much good stuff as you can, while you can.

Thanks everyone for wishing me a happy birthday.

I am just about to head in the tafe now to do revision for the exam I have one field to do I passed 5 of 6 areas last year so I just have to do that and hopefully next week sometime I will be a fully registered plumber and then I will do the tests etc to get licensed.

The area I stuffed up was actually one I was really confident in the welding I got a pinhole in my header that I had to arc weld a 80mm plug in.

It leaked so that is a fail you can't complete the weld in one pass as the rod is not long enough, if I get that weld on the day I will grind the absolute crap out of where I have to join because that is where some slag must have got trapped. ::)

Thanks guys, yes I should pop in Dave we have been flat out though and I am still training with my footy team we only had two weeks off and we are in the gym now three days a week next time if I am near I will pop in and say g'day.

Thanks Stewart, I should be fully qualified hopefully next year I am going to challenge the PIC's computer tests for the license fields I am confident in and do the courses at trade school for the other fields that I don't do much of.

I just got home from the shed I am trying to get my wr360 back together to go riding this weekend the swingarm broke someone used a slightly to big front sprocket and the worn linkage wouldn't of helped either I got the linkage done tonight just need the swingarm bearings to arrive and it should be right for Sunday.

Heres a pic I was half thinking of flogging it but I have spent to much on it I will just keep it going it is pretty right mechanically just not very pretty.

20 hey, to me it seems so long ago ::)

Happy Birthday Michael.
Coincidentally, I met a bloke recently who has a car exactly the same as yours pictured below even the same colour :o

He has done a $35,000 ground up on it. Full rego etc.
He has it locked up at his Dads at the moment.
His wifey would like $35,000 back for it ::)

If or when I lay me peepers on it in the flesh, I will get some happy snaps.

PS; I hope you nailed that weld tonight!

"light weight, and it works great"  :)

Thanks Mick,

Yeah if you get some photos post them you don't see many around.

I'd like to spend less than $35k on my datsun at the moment it is blasted and the flares have been removed back to stock wheel arches and that poxy 70's sunroof is gone I got a roof cut and my mate took the skin off the roof cut and put it on it looks a heap better now.

The charger is a full resto it is on the rotisserie should be fully in primer this week and spray next week hopefully I am going to finish the charger first as the running gear is already done might just need a 4 barrel carb instead of the 2 barrel it is a 360 V8 it should be pretty fun to drive.

Once that is done then I can finish the 240 I am going to buy some triple webers for that aswell, thanks Michael. :)
