84 CR125 chain slider
« on: September 28, 2012, 10:52:55 am »
Hi all, I'm after a slider and set of rollers for my CR. The originals broke on the bikes first ride. Too old and brittle. Are there any aftermarket ones available? Am I correct in thinking that NOS ones, if available, will also be brittle? What other years or models are the same?
Cheers, Grahame

Can't help you with CR bits, Grahame but I did buy a bunch of NOS Kawasaki rollers and sliders a few years ago and they came apart on the first ride as well.

Not saying it would definitely be the case with Honda stuff, that's just my experience.

Yeah that's him.. I've bought some parts from him and it's good quality stuff.

Have you tried VMX Unlimited? They have the DC Plastics slider sets for my 125 H.
My 250 H kept chewing out nos rollers until I put repo ones on...
