OK, thanks for the ice tip.
With CD5 being held in late April, I'm thinking a lie down in a cold puddle should do the job each afternoon of the meet... ;)

You should see us at the track Rosco. All with big soft chairs and cushions, plenty of fluids, a big shade tent and damp towels for wiping ourselves down every so often. Between races we sometimes have an iced tea and chat about families and life in general and even compliment each other on our riding. Gezza is often seen making sure his hair is just right (he has that sort of cute little curl that hangs down over his face and makes him look so adorable), Dennis does his best to keep his riding gear all neat and tidy, Bill never comes to the track without trimming his beard to get that ruffty tuffty boy on the town look, Snowy is always playing with the eyedrops to keep his eyes nice and clear and inviting... Geez I could go on, but you get the picture. We are just so damned civilised.

Looking forward to trying out the new/upgraded dust free track, hope we get similar numbers like we had Clarence, better pack in a bottle of Jacks seeing its down to minus 3 that weekend otherwise might have to pack a jumper

Me too. After photographing last weekend I am feeling all antsy to go for a ride. I damaged myself a few weeks ago and am really hoping I heal enough to be able to ride. Won't be up to race speed but I should be on the track at least. It just looked so nice! I reckon anyone who turns up will go home very happy - should be a ripper of a weekend.

Sniff sniff? Is that the foul stench of defeat that I can smell on you?

:D
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

That's great Mark, it'll be good to see you there. We need to fly the Canberra flag. Better get your entry off if you haven't already though, cos they needed to be in last Friday to avoid the late entry fee. Tho... if you haven't joined the club, you might be able to enter and join the club on the day and avoid the late entry?

As for smells of defeat Nathan, that's not the smell of any old feet, that'd be yours. And I don't need to be up to full race speed to give you a floggin...
