CR 125 suspension help
« on: August 14, 2012, 11:27:01 am »

Mate is in the process of giving his CR 125 the once over before CD9 and is redoing the suspension. He has put new seals in both the forks and the rear shocks but needs to know how much oil and nitrogen to use. he has the gear to do the nitrogen in the rear shocks. I have attached a pic of the bike as I am not sure what year it is me being a suzuki head :)
Thanks Nob

Think your OL mates got a CR 125M 2/3 (1976/77) ;D same shocks from memory; I have a set on my TM 125 ; I tried everywhere and all over the Net a couple of years ago to get the oil capacity / gas capacity without any success :-[ so I gave up and gave them to RAD suspension ;) (07- 38926493) up here in Brisbane , they did a complete overhaul but still a tad too hard for my TM / so I eventually ran on softest setting and NO gas for most of the season.
Hope it helps
