Hi all,
Here's a few snippets, after book has finished its run.
-------
I printed 140 for Easter, plus a run-on of 60 a month ago. It was a tonnage
of paper, and we solved the Sydney-to-Broadford issue by trucking the boxes
to GMC a week earlier. Thanks Geoff :-)
--------
First guy to get one was whippet-quick Jeff KEEN, who got it by post, about ten days
before the Easter release date. The latest to get one is Phil ELDRIDGE - a few days ago.
(About 18 left, and I'll take them out to CD9)
-------
To the west, went copies for Alison (of course!) ... and Graeme SMYTHE. Several went
north to Qld. (Shane W, Worms, S LEMON, M LYONS, IT400, T MAJOR ...)
And, to the east, one went over to Peter PLOEN in New Zealand.
He reported that his mates were crawling all over it.
---------
By the Numbers:
Anton ALERS (Mornington) - 3 copies (One for his 1976 sponsor in Holland)
Blair HARLEY (Sydney) - 4 copies (One for Frank STANBOROUGH)
Tony CLARKE (Bendigo) - 3 copies
Rob SHOEMARK (Sydney) - 2 copies
Dennis CURRAN (Melb) - 3 copies (one for son of desert racer Graham SMITH, RIP)

STACKER extended family - 3 copies

SUMMARY:
It turned out to be a great way to add momentum to our Victorian MX Reunion
at Broadford Easter Bonanza. Thanks again to Les, Barf, Hilly, Goof et al for
the immense three months of work they did on that never-to-be-repeated bonza event.
I believe that, because of the Reunion, there will be a good few dozen extra blokes
heading for CD9 for an extra dose of VMX.
As I've said several times earler, I hope readers got enough out of book ...
seeing as it's heavily biased to 1969 thru 1976 Victorian race days.
Thank you all for your support during my research, and for your enthusiasm
for the book. I loved making it.
Hoping to see heaps of you at CD9
- Roger
