WTF is going on with the rear brake arm?  The 86 doesn't have one as the caliper mounts into a gusset inside the swing-arm

Is it an '85 with a rear disc conversion?!
That sort of full-floating disc conversion was relatively common on road-race and dirt track type events - maybe some history there?

WTF are those shrouds?

I thought 87 was the first of the rear disc?
Yes probably set up as a floating disc, I tried the same thing in 87 but it didn't acheive what I was hoping for. ( a non chattering brake)

86 was the first with the rear disc.
87 was the first 500 (and 250) with the conventional (non-strut-and-rocker) suspension linkage.

Too much chattering hey Geoff? Sure the problem was with the brakes? :D
